Arctonyx is a cybersecurity startup founded by a passionate, technical development team with deep experience in cyber operations for the United States intelligence community. Our mission is to help organizations identify and take action to prevent cyber-attacks and achieve resilience. Based on our extensive experience as attackers, we bring innovative, resource-saving approaches to External Attack Surface Management (EASM) and Continuous Automated Red Teaming (CART), providing effective tools to reduce security blind spots for organizations.
John is an accomplished technical sales and management executive with over 15 years of experience focusing on cybersecurity and collaboration platforms for both government and commercial markets. Before Arctonxy, John served as the VP of Sales for Gravy Analytics, VP of Federal for Ava Security, and Director for Cisco Systems where he consistently strengthened the security posture of his clients, partners, and own organizations while leading exponential growth. He is passionate about helping organizations become cyber resilient and enabling organizations to continuously validate their cyber resiliency. John has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from East Carolina University.
Daniel is a CNE expert with 15 years of software engineering experience including 11 years leading development of defensive and offensive cyber tools for national defense. He spent 7 years developing CNE tools and working closely with CNO operators and analysts. He also played a significant role working across an enterprise CNO ecosystem integrating tools and making improvements focusing on achieving end mission goals. Prior to this, he spent 4 years working on cross-domain security solutions. All of this gives him a unique, broad, and deep understanding of the end-to-end logistics that really serve as the foundation of modern cyber operations. He is proficient on Linux, Windows, and Mac and in Python, Ruby, C, C++, and Java as well as other languages and technologies. In a previous life, he did aircraft survivability equipment testing, simulation, and analysis. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Hillary is a technical sales and marketing leader with demonstrated history of growing new business lines for both product and professional services companies spanning national security technology, international development, and financial services industries. Hillary is customer-obsessed and leverages data- and human-centric approaches to sales and marketing initiatives. Before Arctonyx, Hillary was the VP of Business Development for Creative Radicals, where she tripled revenue in just under three years by selling SaaS products and designing customized technical solutions for national security stakeholders. Additionally, she advised on go-to-market strategies for startups in the national security and financial technology sectors by developing intimate understanding of the competitive landscape and target markets for clients.
Mark has 24 years of experience in defensive and offensive cyber operations. He has worked with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, developing some of the first security guidance special publications offered by NIST for hardening Microsoft Windows and practical applications for digital signatures and encryption. Working for Booz Allen Hamilton, Mark was an Advanced Security Research Developer for the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Red Team. He later joined the NSA as a Global Exploitation and Network Vulnerability Analyst. He then left the NSA to become the Chief Technology Officer of CyberPoint International, where he created the now patented Automated Malware Analysis platform DarkPoint and designed the CATO platform, which forms one of the core pillars of Arctonyx, where he is currently the Chief Technology Officer.
